Services and RatesMany groups we serve are in partnership with Amor Ministries, a ministry that sends short-term work teams to build homes in Mexico. Amor groups have an option of using Baja Cooks for their food and tent service needs. We have worked with Amor for many years and have been a longtime supporter of their mission trip efforts.
Baja Cooks (formerly Camping Pros) began working with Amor Ministries in July of 1999 at their old camp known as the “Rock Pit” in the La Presa area of Tijuana. Since then we have partnered with them on over 600 mission trip groups at Amor camps throughout the northern part of Baja California and Sonora, Mexico.
Baja Cooks shares Amor’s philosophy of resourcing locally. We give back to the local economy by employing staff directly from the communities Amor works in. In fact several of our current employees have had their houses built by Amor groups. We also use local vendors for our food and camping services as well as contribute financially to Amor’s overall mission trip efforts.
Our menus are based on many years of feedback from hundreds of Amor group leaders just like you. We serve a hearty combination of Tex-Mex and traditional American dishes, can accommodate most special dietary needs, and have a camping option that includes all your group’s tents complete with sleeping cushions.
